Shredded Foam
Shredded foam is scrap polyurethane foam that has been reduced into smaller pieces. It is supplied as loose shredded material or in bales, and it is used as feedstock for rebonded PU foam production. Instead of going to waste, clean foam scrap can be shredded, blended, and bonded into new foam blocks.
For rebonded PU foam production, shredded foam is the raw material stream. Rebonded PU foam is made with recycled PU foam and is 100% recyclable. The finished rebonded foam can be density from 50kg/m3 to 300kg/m3, with shape cutting supported. Typical applications include replacement of virgin foam, furniture padding, farming mattress, domestic mattress, and modular autoparts.
