Typical applications

Replacement of virgin foam: for a part currently running on virgin foam, rebonded PU foam is made with recycled PU foam and is 100% recyclable, specified at a density chosen from 50kg/m3 to 300kg/m3.

Furniture padding: furniture padding needs blocks that can be brought to the right profile; shape cutting is supported, so pads and panels arrive closer to the frame requirement.

Farming mattress: farming mattress is a listed use; where load is continuous, specify density toward the upper half of the 50-300kg/m3 range instead of the lightest block available.

Domestic mattress: domestic mattress production uses rebonded blocks as a recycled-input layer, with per-part density set by the support the finished mattress must hold.

Modular autoparts: modular autoparts are a listed application; because shape cutting is supported, blocks can be supplied as cut modules rather than full bales.

How to choose

Start with the duty, not the price. A part under continuous load, such as a farming mattress, is normally specified in the higher part of the 50kg/m3 to 300kg/m3 range; a low-load filler or trim part can sit lower. Confirm target density, color, and whether you need full blocks or cut shapes, since shape cutting is supported.

Then choose the scrap grade. Grade AA comes in around 5% skin or 0-skin versions at 20-30kg/m3, and it is the highest grade and commands a higher price. Grade A is available in 5% skin and 15% skin versions; Grade B is around 15% skin. Colors are black, white, or mixed. If your process needs a softer memory feel or controlled bonding, memory visco scrap, shredded foam, and PU binder are also supplied, along with 10mm thick foam carpet underlay, filter foam scrap, Dali skin foam, Hi-Poly shoe foam scrap (50-60 density), crushed fabric bra foam scrap, and old used foam.
