Rebonded Foam for Mattresses
Mattress makers use rebonded PU foam for domestic and farming mattress cores and layers. The buying questions are practical: which density range, which grade of input foam, and what cut size.
Which materials fit
For domestic and farming mattresses, rebonded PU foam is made with recycled PU foam and is 100% recyclable. Density range is 50kg/m3 to 300kg/m3, and shape cutting is supported. It is designed for replacement of virgin foam, furniture padding, farming mattress, domestic mattress, and modular autoparts. Foam scrap grades are also available: Grade AA with around 5% skin or 0-skin versions, density 20-30kg/m3; Grade A with 5% skin and 15% skin versions; Grade B with around 15% skin. Colors are black, white, or mixed. Memory visco scrap, shredded foam, and PU binder are available. Bales are 200-300kg.
Grade & density guidance
For mattress buyers, use the listed density range of 50kg/m3 to 300kg/m3 for rebonded PU foam and select density based on the required mattress build. Shape cutting is supported, so specify block or sheet dimensions. For scrap grades, Grade AA has around 5% skin or 0-skin versions, density 20-30kg/m3; the listed product information says its the highest grade and commands a higher price. Grade A has 5% skin and 15% skin versions. Grade B has around 15% skin. Choose lower skin content for cleaner surfaces and higher skin content for hidden layers. A 40ft container loads 18000-22000kg; one 40HQ loads 20-22 tons of AA-grade compression bales. Supply ability is 5000 Ton/Tons per Month.
