Which materials fit
For furniture padding, rebonded PU foam is made with recycled PU foam and is 100% recyclable. Density range is 50kg/m3 to 300kg/m3, and shape cutting is supported. It is designed for replacement of virgin foam, furniture padding, farming mattress, domestic mattress, and modular autoparts. Foam scrap grades include Grade AA, Grade A, and Grade B. Colors are black, white, or mixed. Grade AA has around 5% skin or 0-skin versions, density 20-30kg/m3; the listed product information says its the highest grade and commands a higher price. Grade A has 5% skin and 15% skin versions. Grade B has around 15% skin. Memory visco scrap, shredded foam, and PU binder are also available.
Grade & density guidance
For furniture factories, match grade and skin content to the visible surface and bonding process. Grade AA, with around 5% skin or 0-skin versions and density 20-30kg/m3, is for cleaner foam needs; the listed product information says its the highest grade and commands a higher price. Grade A comes in 5% skin and 15% skin versions. Grade B has around 15% skin. Use lower skin content for exposed cushioning and higher skin content for hidden or bonded layers. Rebonded PU foam covers 50kg/m3 to 300kg/m3 and can be shape cut. Bales are 200-300kg. A 40ft container loads 18000-22000kg; one 40HQ loads 20-22 tons of AA-grade compression bales.
